Training and learning environment
Oslo School of Management focuses on uniting well developed theoretical skills with close relations to each professional field. Our curriculum is designed to enable students to develop both analytical and critical skills. Students are evaluated through exams, cases, projects, and presentations. A combination of theory and practice characterises the bachelor degree courses, and makes it extra challenging to study at OSM.
OSM offers a complete training and learning environment, including tuitions, library services, PC-facilities, student reception and other supporting services. Student representatives are attending the academic board of directors and the educational advisory board to ensure the students’ general interests in their training and learning environment.
Research and development
One of OSM ’s primary goals is to maintain a strong focus on research both nationally and internationally.
Faculty members come from a range of academic areas, and this is
reflected in our research and in our international publications.
To strengthen our research, our Research Committee holds ”Higher Seminar and Workshop Series” with lectures of international standard. These are aimed for faculty members, third year students and staff.
Internationalisation
Internationalisation is an important part of OSM’s strategy to improve quality in education and research. OSM is actively engaged in facilitating student and staff exchange, as well as joint development of courses and study programs. Our aim is to have a high level of integration with foreign student.
University Colleges
Norwegian university colleges are under the same regulations, structures and legislations as the universities, and offer the same academic level. Credits can be transferred between universities and university colleges.
Campus
The campus at OSM is conveniently located in the centre of Oslo, in an old bank building. Nearby, you find the harbour, commercial district and government offices. Students, staff and faculty members have access to the facilities all day. The college hosts several cafeterias, library and a student pub. In addition, there are a variety of sports groups and different clubs which are open to all students. The main task for the International Office is to develop new and existing relationships for exchange students.
All students are members of the student union “Studentunionen ved Campus Kristiania”. An association driven by students to ensure student welfare.
