SERVICES
The Oslo School of Management Library offers access to a large number of books, journals, databases, newspapers, student graduate papers and other information materials, both print and electronic. These are tailored especially to meet the information requirements of our students and academic staff.

FOCUS AREAS
Information Literacy is well integrated into all the courses the school has to offer. The Library takes an active part in the teaching of IL, development of citation guidelines and in counseling students on how to implement these. Since 2010, the Library partook in the development of a course called “Academic reading and writing”, for all 1st Grade students, focusing on information skills such as searching for, evaluating and citing literature. The Library is constantly evolving, and developing projects. One such project is our 2011 “Handheld Library Project”, experimenting on use of new technologies within teaching and consuming of literature, in cooperation with academic staff.

STAFF

• 4 trained Librarians
• 2 Student assistants: These are recruited among 3rd year students, and are available 6 hours a week, for counseling their peer students.
• 6 Library assistants (evenings and weekends)
